Remote (Inktober Day 12)

The prompt for the day is “Remote.”

I work remotely for my clients, and there are many benefits. Let’s look at a few.

  1. Autonomy. I get to decide when I work, where, and what clothes to wear. I love the freedom that comes with working remotely.
  2. The ownership the client takes of the content. When your social media manager and/or content writer works remotely, you, the business owner, are somewhat responsible for sending content along. Once I have received the images you wish to showcase, I can edit them, write about them, and work my magic, but it is really our magic combined that brings the audience to your content.
  3. Authenticity. By working remotely, I get to be myself, unhibited by the pressures of an office or agency environment. That means that I can deliver my very best work to you, my client, every time.

Working remotely can be challenging at times. It can get lonely, and there can be times when inspiration becomes limited. All in all, though, I find that having the flexibility to work at my own pace in my own space ensures that I provide my clients with the best product.

How do you feel about working remotely versus in an office?
