The Inktober prompt for today is “Discover.”
As a business blog writer, I have the unique opportunity to discover a wide range of niches for my work. This is actually one of the aspects I love most about what I do.
My sense of adventure feels satiated for a while when I get to put myself in my clients’ shoes and live vicariously through them for a while. By doing this, I can write for them—AS them—in their blog pieces.
Over the years as a blog writer, I have become quite knowledgeable as I have discovered the worlds of:
-cleaning and decluttering

-prepping for disasters
-dog breeding and care
-horse breeds
-cameras
-the spiritual meanings of birds, colours, angel numbers, crystals, and more
-yoga instruction
-ballet instruction
-music instruction
-parenting
-teaching
-eco-tourism
-corporate culture
-RV living
-… and SO much more!
The joy of writing for clients or myself is that there is a discovery around every corner. Whether I’m learning about a new topic or a new style of writing, I am never bored and always discovering.
Ah! To be able to do what I love!!!! Now, it’s best I get back to work on my next journey of discovery! Where did I put my hat and binoculars??
