Working from home sure can sure play tricks on your mind. Here’s how to avoid getting sucked into a vortex of couches, PJs and slacking:
*Get up at a regular time.
*Shower and get dressed… every ?? single ?? day
*Have a schedule to work to.
*Explain to friends and family that although you are at home you are, in fact, working.
*Make an effort to use your voice. Typing away all day is great, but can make us feel a little reclusive if we don’t use our real voice to speak to people from time to time. Try adding voice notes, phone and video calls to your communication arsenal and keep that social part of yourself alive.
*Have a cut-off time for work. It’s too tempting to keep working when you are home already. Remember that you need rest and time off too.
*Lbjhhastly, remember your long-term goals. Keep that dream in mind and keep striving towards it.
